My Approach
Blends evidence, ethics, philosophy, and real-world experience.
Many current mental health approaches struggle to meet the moment we’re in. It’s often generic, built on what worked before rather than what’s needed now, and disconnected from the realities clinicians and organizations are facing.
The goal isn’t surface-level reassurance or quick answers, but the ability to think clearly and act responsibly when the path forward isn’t obvious.
You don’t have to navigate this alone.
My work is shaped by years of experience across clinical practice, supervision, education, and organizational leadership. Along with my business partner and incredible team, I have built and led a large group practice for the last 10 years (and counting), supervised clinicians, taught continuing education and at the university level, and worked within the realities of insurance systems, regulation, and organizational change.
I understand this field not only as a clinician but as a leader responsible for ethical decisions, sustainability, and real-world constraints. That perspective informs how I approach this work with the utmost respect for our profession and the clients we serve.
Alongside my formal roles, philosophy and creativity play a quiet but important role in how I think. I value realism in a field saturated with shallow clichés and hollow promises. I’m drawn to creative processes that balance planning and skill with openness to the unexpected, where something useful and unique can emerge. I’m most interested in approaches that balance thoughtful structure with responsiveness to real-world complexity.
This is the lens I bring to every consultation, training, and collaboration.
